Couples Labyrinth

This is a four circuit labyrinth that is intended for couples although it could be used for two people wanting to work on their relationship as well, such as a parent and child, with that intent stated up front.  The path is nice and wide to allow two people to walk side by side.  There are four layers to reach the center.  The outer layer represents the physical connection, the next layer the mental connection, the next the emotional connection and the final the spiritual connection.  The center is total unity and blending of all four levels.  The couple should walk the labyrinth holding hands.  They should acknowledge issues that are bringing up feelings as they journey to the center.  Stop and talk about them when it feels appropriate. Allow barriers to the unity of the relationship to fall away.  Once in the center they should spend some time together nurturing and sharing, being completely in the present with one another, during this time there should be no other people present in thought or word..  When leaving the labyrinth the path being created is the path of the future of the relationship.

Only one couple should use this labyrinth at a time and they should be the given respect and privacy needed & take all the time they need to work their way through this labyrinth.  This should be a slow and loving process.
